The club set to play in Belgian Division 1 from 2025–26, the third tier of Belgian football after promotion from Belgian Division 2 in 2024–25. In 1975, VK Dadizele joined the Belgian FA, receiving matricule 8264. The club never left the Belgian Provincial Leagues, but almost gained promotion to the national level in 2019 via the promotion playoffs.
