César Henrique Martins (born 28 December 1992), known simply as César, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Portuguese club Santa Clara.
Club career On 2 July 2014, Ponte Preta announced César had signed a five-year deal with S.L. Benfica for an undisclosed fee, rumoured to be around €3 million.
On 14 December 2014, he debuted in Primeira Liga in a Benfica win at Porto (0–2).
